Title I Program

Title I is a federally funded general education program that supplements reading and math instruction in designated schools. In partnership with classroom teachers and parents, the Title I teachers work to help children become better readers and better mathematicians. They provide one-on-one and small group instruction to help children attain independence. They also work with classroom teachers to differentiate lessons for students.

Title One is a supplemental program. It does not replace regular reading or math instruction in the classroom. It is actually a second dose of instruction.
