Bee Library: Web 2.0 Information

Unsure of where to go to get information about Web 2.0, the new sites on the internet that allow students to interact, create and share their work? The Medina City Schools Library Media Department has created a website with information and tutorials on many of the most popular web 2.0 tools, such as blogs, wikis, RSS Feeds, Google Docs and Sites and much more. BeeLibrary was created with Google Sites, one of the many web 2.0 tools that allow users to easily share.

Video Resources

	Ohio's Area Media Centers feature hundreds of digital videos available for download. Use the Infohio username and password for access.
	Owned by NBC, Hulu is an online video service that offers hit TV shows, movies and clips. Includes channels on special topics such as documentaries and current affairs.
	A video portal for kids that includes many educational and literature related videos such as Schoolhouse Rock and Dr. Seuss.
	YouTube for teachers. An online community for sharing instructional videos.
	Videos for kids to learn from, organized. Developed by a consortium including wikipedia co-founder, Larry Sanger
	You Tube videos are accesible under the staff log-in only.
