Kindergarten Registration begins January 25

The Medina City Schools is holding kindergarten registration from January 25 through April. Parents can begin to register online on January 25 by visiting the district web site at www.medinacityschooldistrict.org and clicking on the New Student Registration button. The registration packet can be completed online. If parents do not have access to a computer they can obtain the necessary registration forms from the Registration Office. After parents complete the registration online they should print the completed packet. The second step for parents is to contact Laura Williams in the Registration Office at 330-636-3100 to schedule an appointment to review all forms and necessary documentation. Once the paperwork is complete and has been reviewed for correct documentation your child will be scheduled to visit his/her school building for their kindergarten screening, these screenings will occur during the month of April. The following are the dates for kindergarten screenings in each school building. Please note – your child must have a scheduled appointment for this visit. Northrop Elementary Monday, April 12 Director of Instruction, Lori Chandler stated “Our building staff are excited to have the opportunity to meet and greet their future students in their schools. Our goal is to provide a very positive first step to the Medina City Schools.” |
