Summer and Fall Opportunities for Students 2010

2010 Medina Bees All-Star Lacrosse Camp

A fun and competitive camp designed to improve individual skill and understanding of Lacrosse will be offered from June 21 – June 24. The camp is available to students entering fourth through ninth grade. It will be staffed by Medina High School’s head varsity Lacrosse Coach Pat O’Brien, his coaching staff, former players and players from the 2010 Lacrosse team.

The camp will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The three hour day will include 1 ½ hours of instruction and 1 ½ hours of play. The cost is $75 and includes instruction, a jersey, water bottles, balls and more! Players must have a helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm guards, mouth guard and protective cup to participate. Cleats are recommended.

Medina Strings Program
Coming New this fall for Medina-area string players..

The Medina Strings Program will provide students an opportunity to continue their study of violin, viola, cello or bass.  Students will participate weekly in small group lessons and string ensemble rehearsals.

All programming will take place at Garfield North (formerly the Grace Drake Center for the Arts).  Garfield North is centrally located at 222 South Broadway Street between the Medina County District Library and Garfield Elementary School.  Information including dates, times, and fees, will be available in the near future.
