 1. CHAIN LINKS NEWS: Be sure to look at our Links of Kindness in the cafeteria as it grows larger
with each act of kindness. Our chain link has grown to 80 links!

ASPCA POSTER: Check out the poster in the cafeteria… help collect needed items for this
worthy organization. They need things like towels, dog food, kitty litter, etc. There is a full list on
the poster.

CHAIN LINKS MEETING: Tuesday, May 22 from 2:30 – 3:30 in Room C8. All are welcome!!

3. MEDIA CENTER NEWS: CLOSED TODAY DUE TO TESTING!!

4. COMIC BOOK NEWS: The last meeting of the school year is Wednesday, May 23!!!

5. TENNIS NEWS: Any boys or girls interested in playing high school tennis or participating in the
Summer tennis league…there will be an open court at the high school tennis courts on
Wednesday, May 23 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm.

6. FOOTBALL NEWS: Attention all 6th & 7th grade students !! There is a mandatory informational meeting for Football on Thursday, May 24 from 2:30 – 3:00 pm in the Media Center. Please arrange for a ride home at 3:00 PM

7. ATTENTION ALL 8TH GRADE GIRLS: PACKETS AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE!!!
Tryout clinic is scheduled for Monday, May 21; Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 from 4-
5:30 at the MCRC. Tryouts will be held Thursday at the High School.

8. WASHINGTON D.C. NEWS: ATTENTION ALL 7TH GRADERS!!!!! The 8th Grade Washington,
D.C. Trip is scheduled for October 3, 4, & 5, 2012. Your payment of $370.00 needs to be paid
by May 30, 2012 directly to NOWAK TOUR and TRAVEL!!! Information is located on the ROOT
