Welcome to H.G. Blake Elementary School!

We are proud that you have entrusted your child to us and promise that we will do our best to provide the best education possible.  We are dedicated to developing in our students a strong academic foundation, a respect for themselves and others and a love for learning.  We strive to make our students independent thinkers, we want them to form opinions and articulate their ideas.  We want them to analyze problems and apply their knowledge.  In short, we want to prepare them not only for this year's tests, but for life's tests as well.

We know we cannot do this alone!  As parents, you are your child's first and best teacher.  We are dedicated to building a strong parent partnership and encourage your input and participation.  We hope for your active involvement, whether it be through volunteering, attending PTO meetings and other school events or just staying current by visiting our website regularly.  Together, we can make this a successful year of learning for your child.

Sincerely,

Tina Cassidy, Principal
