SENIOR CENSUS CARD - due by May 21st

Baccalaureate - Thursday, May 30, 2013  7:00 p.m. St. Francis Xavier Church

All are welcome!  No tickets needed.  Graduates should wear their caps and gowns. 

The first planning meeting for Baccalaureate 2013 is Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 a.m. in the Media Center.  All seniors are welcome!

Josten's reps here Sept. 20 & 21 and at the MCCC at the beginning of November to take orders.  After those dates, call John Armstrong at Josten's 330-722-0131 or www.jostens.com to place an order.  

Cap & Gown Packets 

Pick up starts the week of May 6th.  All Fees & Fines must be paid in full to pick up the packet.

The packet includes: 

• Tickets  
  
  Each graduate receives 8 tickets in the cap and gown package.  Two additional tickets can be requested from the HUB 330-636-3210.
• Directions to the JAR
• Commencement update
• Cords for seniors in the National Honor Society

Applications will be available after spring break.  Deadline to submit is 2:30 p.m. April 26, 2013.  Turn in at the Hub.  No late applications will be accepted.

Favorite Teacher Letters

We would like to continue the practice of having seniors write letters recognizing a teacher, administrator or other support staff member who has made an impact on their high school career.    All letters should be submitted by 2:30 p.m. April 26, 2013 at the Hub. No late submissions will be considered.  Students will have the opportunity to read their letter on the morning announcements.  The teacher/staff member will be presented with the framed letter.   Favorite Teacher Letter Cover Sheet

Scholarships

All scholarship information and their applications can be found on Blackboard in the MHS Guidance Organization. The on-line Medina Universal Scholarship Application will become available on Blackboard from February 16 - March 3 only.

SENIOR EXAM EXEMPTION CRITERIA
 HAS CHANGED

GRADE REQUIRMENT IS B-

Seniors will be required to take end of year exams if they receive a grade lower than B- in the third and/or fourth grading period, have more than ten (10) absences 2nd semester, or have any out-of-school suspensions 2nd semester. Seniors who earn a grade of B- or better in both the third and fourth grading period, have no more than (10) absences 2nd semester, and have no out-of-school suspensions 2nd semester will be exempt from end of the year senior exams.

 If you do not show up for an assigned exam and it is an unexcused absence you will automatically fail for the semester.
